Craig Baute is a Senior Partner with Platinum Recruiting Group and joined the firm in 2010. Jon Harbridge joined the Platinum Recruiting Group team at the beginning of 2020 to launch a new vertical for the firm specializing in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering with a focus on positions ranging from mid management to executive level. Prior to joining the Platinum team, Jon spent several years working at a national staffing firm where he successfully helped build the Manufacturing & Supply Chain vertical as a Division Director along with playing a lead role in developing and training new staff. Corey Newman is a Practice Leader for the Contract Staffing & Consulting division with Platinum Recruiting Group and joined the firm in 2018. Corey was a graduate of Indiana University and started his career in public accounting with one of the 5th largest CPA firms in the U.S., then joined a name brand multi-billion dollar public company where he gained additional experience in SEC reporting.
After spending time in the corporate accounting world, Corey made a successful transition to the recruiting industry where joined one of the world’s largest firms specialized in Accounting & Finance staffing. Corey quickly moved up to a Division Director/AVP role in one of the firm’s largest offices where he focused on contract accounting & consulting projects for clients ranging in size from mid market privately held organizations to FORTUNE 500 companies. During his tenure, he was consistently recognized as a top performer where he also successfully built and managed a team of top producers. After spending 5 years with a national recruiting firm, Corey brought his talents to a growing boutique search firm where he helped successfully build the contract accounting and consulting division over the next few years. Ted joined the Platinum Recruiting Group team in 2020 as a Senior Recruiting Manager. Ted is based in our Louisville office specializing in Accounting & Finance, HR, and Manufacturing Operations with a focus on positions ranging from mid-management to executive level.
Ted brings an extension background in executive recruitment, with demonstrated history of working in the staffing and recruiting industry. He is passionate in the areas of sales & sales management, full-cycle recruitment and permanent placement. Prior to joining Platinum, Ted worked as an executive recruiter for a consulting firm. There, he engaged with business leaders and HR executives while managing C-Level suite interactions with regards to areas of talent acquisition, strategic partnerships, and deployment of recruiting strategies.
Ted graduated from Indiana University-Southeast earning his MBA and holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Finance from the University of Louisville.

Katie Simmer joined Platinum Recruiting Group in 2021 to support recruitment efforts in the areas of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Human Resources with a focus on positions ranging from mid management to executive level.
Katie brings with her a wealth of recruitment expertise, having spent 15 years in recruitment and human resource roles prior to joining the Platinum team. Michele is a Talent Acquisition Manager with Platinum Recruiting Group and joined the firm in 2019. Michele supports the Contract Staffing & Consulting division. In addition, Michele oversees our Accounting Support division, which includes recruitment for accountable payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting positions.
Michele spent the first 12 years of her career working for national and local staffing firms in roles ranging from recruiting, account management to administration. After taking some time away to raise her two boys, Michele joined the Noblesville School District to support front office operations. But it was her keen sales interest that encouraged her to return to the recruitment industry, with an organized and consultative approach.
Michele holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Manager of Business Operations & Marketing
Delivering outstanding customer service, marketing, and operational excellence is all in a day’s work for Beth. As Platinum’s Operations and Marking Manager, Beth is responsible for marketing strategy and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations for clients and staff.
Beth joins Platinum with experience in people operations, marketing, and client success. She has experience working in a variety of settings and is able to provide strong communication and project management skills to Platinum.
Beth has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
She and her husband, David live in Carmel with their two boys, Elliot and Micah.
